General Operator

About the Role
We are looking for a General Operator to join our team. The role is a permanent position, based at Reliance Precision Manufacturing (Ireland) Limited (Bandon, County Cork).

Responsibilities

  • Component manufacture and inspection to drawing, and to associated SHEQ documentation
  • Complete and comply with all documentation as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

 Skills and Qualifications
Essential:

  • Good attention to detail and be conscientious
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • The ability to work well independently and within a team
  • A structured approach to tasks
  • Minimum leaving certificate or equivalent standard

 Desirable Personal Skills

  • Good timekeeping, attendance and performance record

Hours of Work

Permanent Contract
Full time Position
40 hours per week and shift as required
07:30 -16:45 Monday – Thursday
07:30 – 12:30 Friday

Stores Operative

About the Role
We are looking for a Stores Operative to join our Stores and Despatch department. The role is a permanent position, based at Reliance Precision Manufacturing (Ireland) Limited (Bandon, County Cork).

Reporting to the Team Leader the successful candidate will be responsible for the booking-in and control of traceable raw materials and duties will include cover, as required, in all other areas of stores, problem solving, continuous improvement and other related tasks.  A Stores Operative is required to work diligently and methodically to pick and pack precision items to send to Customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Booking in deliveries
  • Pick and prepare items for shipping, including all paperwork and booking of couriers
  • Control of traceable raw materials
  • Cover and support other areas of stores
  • Diligently and methodically pick and pack precision items to be shipped worldwide
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement of systems

 Skills and Qualifications
Essential:

  • Stock management
  • Goods inwards
  • Packing & Despatch
  • Visual management
  • Good attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
  • Good communication skills with all stakeholders
  • Leaving Certificate

Desirable Personal Skills

  • Self-motivated
  • Able to work additional hours at short notice
  • A team player
  • Ability to review equipment and report faults
